Notes:
This unit is designed to operate properly when added to a system using a RF Linx Antennafier Amplifier or to a system where no amplification is used. We cannot guarantee that oscillation will not occur if this product is used in conjunction with any amplifier other than a RF Linx brand unit. Customers have reported successful uses of our filter with other brands of amplifiers. We suggest that this product be used with RF Linx Amplifiers or without amplification to prevent any potential problems and to receive peak performance.

• Do not open units and/or adjust tuning screws. These filters are tuned on a precision network analyzer. Further adjustments are not necessary and will void your warranty.
• Do not transmit outside of the passband. Outside the passband these filters present a high SWR to your transmitter. Be sure to connect the Channel 1 Radio to the Channel 1 input port and likewise for Channel 11.
• These filters are DC grounded. A DC feed through the coax will see a short circuit.
• If amplifiers are used mount the 2400 UHQ between the amplifier and the antenna for proper operation. The filter will not pass DC power so a tower top amplifier powered from a bottom mounted DC Injector requires the filter to be placed either between the radio and injector or between the amplifier and antenna.

 

Description

The 2400 UHQ Diplexer offers the functionality of a drop in multiplexer and channel filter for channels 1 and 11. The RF Linx Diplexer offers incredible adjacent channel rejection and allows the co-location of two WLAN radio devices. The RF Linx Diplexer phases both channel 1 and channel 11 transmissions onto one output cable and antenna effectively doubling your network capacity. You also benefit from fewer antennas and cable runs which can dramatically reduce tower leases. This unit works great in aircraft where multiple channels are desired but there is only room for one antenna. Our Diplexer is also perfect for use with TRAD Radiating Cable for indoor commercial networks. The 2400 UHQ-DIPLXR also acts like a standalone set of channel filters for channel 1 and 11.

You can maintain output power levels by combining this with one of our 2.4GHz Bi-Directional Amplifiers to compensate for the attenuation of the diplexer.
